There are dedicated buttons, though, for max defrost and max air conditioning. Those will give you full fans being with one button if your windshield fogs up or something like that. On the good side, the fan speed button works really well to bump the speed up and down. And the dual zone temperature control also works really well.

If the cab is hot the system doesn’t increase air volume and it never cools down. If I use max air and cool it down when I go back to auto 72 it can’t seem to stabilize anywhere near that temperature. I have the fan set on max auto. I know Ford can build an auto climate control that works… I had one in an Explorer.
Hi, I've got a 2005 Ford Five Hundred SEL with dual climate control problem. Drivers side the A/C and heat works fine, vent temp 54 to 160 range. Passenger side vent only does 64 to 88 max (same as outside air temp).
The 2007-2016 Ford Expedition with manual temperature and fan controls may have problems with the the blower motor only blowing air on certain settings.
